Visiting Golden, CO for the second time we looked for different venues and activities. For example we often forgo the tour guy as being too ‘touristy’; it was our good fortune to have found a knowledgeable, entertaining and open carrying cowboy in Tombstone and would recommend that tour. And so it was in Golden that we again pursued a walking tour and happened upon an Argonaut; loquacious with knowledge of local history that made our guided tour of Golden a memorable experience. Chris Coubois, owner of Wild West Walking History provides a two hour walking tour of Golden interspersed with tales of and facts about the personalities that shaped Golden history and created its legends.
