Mountain Home RV, Mountain Home, ID

Mountain Home RV, Mountain Home, ID is a part of the G7 Resorts family of campgrounds. This location has wide paved streets and excellent entrance and exit room on all the long level concrete pull-thru’s. The landscaping is beautiful with expansive irrigated lawns between sites and trees are all trimmed up and back so that was not an issue for our 45’ motorcoach. This is primarily a permanent residence campground with the full-timers located mainly in a separate section; transients are treated to the treed sections of the campground. The main building houses the office, and a pool table in a separate room; upstairs is a lounge area, full kitchen, bathroom and a cramped but functional exercise room. Amenities include a large outdoor hot tub, a heated pool that is small for the number of occupants in this park, a separate convention center, basketball court, nicely grassed and large dog park, and a playground. The FHU utilities are standard and we continuously drew 60 amps with no issues. WiFi is unparalleled (compared to most rv parks) supporting streaming music and HD movies simultaneously on our smart TV. WiFi strong broadband provides a satisfying internet experience. It is to their credit to have invested in such internet performance as too many rv parks still neglect to invest in this 21st century medium (cable and satellite are outdated and I believe millennial’s will be the catalyst for improvement in this area). OTA (over the air antenna) received several local channels in SD and HD. In a separate building adjacent to the main building is housed a laundry room and several bathroom/shower rooms. All are clean, neat and contemporary.

The Takeaway: A well constructed and designed campground with wide streets and long level concrete pads with sweeping entrances and exits making parking effortless. All trees are trimmed up and back and the large grassed space between sites is irrigated. The hot tub, pool, exercise room, and large grassed dog park add to the enjoyment of this park. WiFi is excellent allowing simultaneous streaming of music and movies without buffering.
